Centrally Located and Great for Groups
Business, pleasure, or romance? Alaska Heavenly Lodge wears many hats, but it wears them all well. Located on the Kenai Peninsula, the lodge is centrally located in Cooper Landing and offers true Alaskan hospitality. For anglers, there may be no better place to cast your line out. Trout, dollies, sockeye, and every salmon you can think of swim through the various sections of the Kenai River where you’ll come across unique scenery and an overall different experience than what you’re accustomed to. Onsite, choose between three log cabins: the Main Lodge, Mt. Cecil Cabin, and the Russian River Cabin. All provide a luxurious experience in their own ways in the backcountry of Alaska. Fishing isn’t the only way to see the beautiful Alaska terrain either. Explore the waters and take in the views of the shore from the comfort of a kayak or raft, or find a picturesque location at the top of a hill by either hiking or horseback riding. The lodge will provide an all-around Alaska experience that will leave you craving for more!
A family trip to Alaska offers many opportunities you may not find anywhere else. Your group can spend hours on the water looking for that trophy fish to bring home, but you are only just scratching the surface of what is offered here. Take a fly-out excursion to get an overhead view of the stunning terrain and brown bears below, pan for gold along the various rivers and streams, or hike together to find the perfect panoramic view that no photograph will do justice.
Hosting a retreat or meeting out in Alaska could be a turning point for your organization. Situated in the Kenai Peninsula, the lodge will take you far from the concrete jungle and into an environment where you’ll be surrounded by nature and wildlife. The setting will put your mind at ease and inspire your group to think outside the box and get clarity. Who knows, you may have a lightbulb moment or two out here!
Get to know your relatives on a deeper level when you host your next reunion at Alaska Heavenly Lodge. Centrally located in Cooper Landing, the lodge is tucked away from the highway and offers a peaceful and natural setting. Comfortably accommodating up to 25 people, your entire family should fit and will have access to various hiking trails as well as onsite amenities like hot tubs and a fire-pit. Conversations will flow smoothly with distractions being limited to the wildlife surrounding you.
Have a destination wedding, unlike anything you’ve ever seen on the Kenai Peninsula. Outdoor weddings here offer fantastic views where 25-30 guests can sleepover and be a part of your intimate celebration! Unlike other venues, you will have the freedom to provide your personal touches so it truly does feel like your special day. And with an outdoor fire pit, horseshoe pit, barbecue grills, and Alaska at your doorstep there will be something for everyone to enjoy!
The Kenai Peninsula provides some of the finest natural beauty in all of Alaska. The waters are home to various fish species like trout, dollies, and salmon. Even though there isn’t a stoplight in town, drivers may be delayed by bear or moose crossings, and the seemingly untouched vegetation and towering trees create an atmosphere that seems out of this world.
With approximately 400 fishing guides registered on the Kenai, finding the right one might seem daunting. However, Alaska Heavenly Lodge’s staff has years of experience on these premium waters and call many of the top guides friends. And with rainbow trout, king, red, and silver salmon all lurking in the waters of the Kenai, there is no telling how many trophies you’ll be able to reel in!
The remoteness of Alaska may seem overwhelming to many guests, but Alaska Heavenly Lodge provides the right amenities to make you feel at home. Cabins offer modern kitchens and spacious rooms, as well as luxuries like hot-tubs, jacuzzis, and a sauna. And with wireless internet access around the property, you’ll never feel too far from home.
Bask in unrivaled beauty on your next Alaska trip. Overlooking the Kenai River, deck views from your cabin also may feature the stunning mountains of the Chugach Range on the horizon. Though you can simply take in the views, take it a step further and explore the dramatic skyline up close either through the water on a kayak or on land with a hiking expedition.
Alaska Heavenly Lodge provides a variety of accommodations between the three guest cabins situated on 18 acres. The Main Lodge sleeps up to 10 guests and features a stone fireplace, a barbecue grill, and a large deck with stunning views of the Chugach Mountains. Mt. Cecil Cabin, the newest of the bunch, offers three bedrooms with private bathrooms, and a lovely deck with panoramic views. The Russian River Cabin serves as the honeymoon sweet and comes complete with flat-screen televisions, a hot-rock sauna, and a hot tub. All three have wireless internet, so you won’t feel too far removed! - May 10 to Sep 31
